Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the technical direction of both greenfield and existing projects. This is a hands-on leadership role combining architecture ownership, technical decision-making, and engineering mentorship. You will define scalable solutions, guide development teams, and ensure technical excellence while aligning engineering decisions with business goals.

Requirements:

7+ years of commercial software engineering experience;

Strong experience designing scalable architectures, from modular monoliths to microservices, with a solid understanding of performance, scalability, security, and reliability;

Deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and distributed system patterns (State Machines, Saga, event-driven architectures, distributed caching);

Strong hands-on engineering background with the ability to quickly adapt to different technology stacks; experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is required;

3+ years of frontend architecture experience using React or Angular;

Production experience with AWS or Azure (GCP is also acceptable), including compute services, serverless solutions, containers, and orchestration;

Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot,

Cursor, etc.) as part of the daily development workflow;

Ability to establish AI-driven development practices, including prompts, agents, review workflows, and engineering standards;

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps);

Strong research mindset with experience evaluating new technologies, cloud services, and building proof of concepts;

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) will be a plus;

Experience with presales activities, solution design, estimations, customer workshops, or technical consulting will be a strong advantage;

Experience with Kafka, streaming architectures, GitOps, or healthcare domain projects will be a plus;

English level: Upper Intermediate or higher.

About the role:

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for shaping technical strategy from project inception through delivery. Beyond designing architectures, you will mentor engineers, establish development standards, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, and ensure that technical decisions support both business objectives and long-term product scalability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:

Own the technical architecture and key engineering decisions across multiple projects;

Lead technical discovery and project initiation for new engagements;

Design scalable, maintainable, and business-oriented system architectures;

Conduct architecture and code reviews while driving engineering standards and reducing technical debt;

Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions together with stakeholders and Product Owners;

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams;

Research, evaluate, and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and AI-driven engineering practices;

Support presales activities by contributing to solution design, technical estimations, and client discussions.
