Project description:

This service combines the expertise of board-certified sleep physicians, experienced sleep diagnosticians and treatment planners, orthodontists, general practitioners, a portfolio of innovative sleep appliances, and comprehensive billing services — all in one turnkey solution.

The platform enables dentists to refer patients for telehealth sleep diagnoses and then either refer them further or offer treatment directly, such as sleep apnea devices, as an alternative to CPAP machines.

Project team: Tech Lead, CTO and Product Owner, Frontend Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend APIs using Node.js;

Build and deploy serverless functions with AWS Lambda;

Manage and configure API endpoints using AWS API Gateway;

Work with SQL databases: design schemas, write optimized queries, ensure data consistency;

Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement technical solutions;

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices;

Monitor and troubleshoot backend services to maintain performance and reliability;

Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning in an Agile environment.
