Qualifications:

4+ years of commercial experience in software development;

4+ years of experience with Java and SQL;

Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React.js);

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate;

Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS;

Knowledge of PHP is an advantage;

Understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles;

Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git;

Excellent communication and documentation skills;

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team;

English level: Upper Intermediate or higher.

Project description:

Our customer delivers and supports multiple Java-based websites. Our role is to step in and provide him with a team of engineers to boost his ongoing activities.

Responsibilities:

Participate in daily Scrum meetings and sprint planning activities;

Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and updates to existing Java-based applications;

Contribute to the design and planning of new features for existing systems;

Optimize database performance and ensure efficient query execution;

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues;

Support and maintain existing codebase, ensuring stability and reliability.
