About vacancy:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT projects and drive the development of PMO strategies across the organization. This dynamic role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project management. You’ll have the opportunity to shape project management best practices, mentor fellow managers, and work closely with senior stakeholders to align the PMO strategy with business objectives. Your role will encompass leading PMO initiatives and managing impactful projects, whether outsourced, discovery, or outstaff. The specific balance of responsibilities will be tailored to your expertise and finalized during the interview process.
Qualifications:
7+ years of proven experience in IT project management;
Experience in applying company-wide PM strategies outside of project scope;
Ability to drive PMO strategy and align it with overall business goals;
Ability to mentor and develop project managers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement;
Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments and with senior stakeholders;
Extensive project management experience across various methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
Proficiency in project management tools (Atlassian stack;
Good overall understanding of typical project technologies and development tools;
Strong understanding of SDLC, especially CI/CD and release process;
English level: Advanced.
Will be a plus:
Experience as a Head of PMO;
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP);
Experience in executing fixed-price projects;
Previous background as a developer or QA.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the PMO to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategy;
Develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks across the organization;
Oversee portfolio and program management, ensuring successful delivery of all projects on time, within scope, and budget;
Collaborate with leadership to establish strategic priorities, manage resources, and address cross-functional dependencies;
Work on discovery phases for new projects, ensuring thorough analysis and planning before project execution;
Develop and implement an Outstaff management strategy to create additional value for clients besides providing talent;
Prepare and define delivery strategies for fixed-price projects, balancing client requirements with risk management and cost control;
Monitor project performance using key metrics and tools to ensure continuous improvement and project success;
Facilitate communication and alignment between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership;
Mentor and coach project managers to promote professional growth and adherence to best practices;
Risk management for the portfolio, identifying and mitigating project risks early on;
Ensure compliance with internal and external project governance standards.
