Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in software development using Ruby (Ruby on Rails), JavaScript, HTML, CSS;

Experience with object-oriented design and software development methodologies;

Experience with test-driven development;

Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating on complex projects;

Strong problem-solving and communication skills;

A passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest technology trends;

Experience with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and data engineering is a plus, but not required;

English level: Upper Intermediate.

Project description:

The application that we have our Ruby Engineers on would be a Ruby on Rails monolith. It manages a patient, doctor, pharmacy, customer care, and admin portal which all complement one another for the primary function of providing personalized care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;

Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Ruby;

Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code that adheres to our engineering standards and best practices;

Participate in code reviews to ensure that all code is of high quality and aligned with team standards;

Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and work with the team to resolve them in a timely manner;

Contribute to the evolution of our engineering practices and processes.
