Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in JavaScript development on BE engineer positions;

1+ years of experience working as Tech/Team Lead;

Strong knowledge of Node.js engine, architecture, etc.;

Strong knowledge of Typescript, ES6/ES7, CSS, HTML5;

Experience with Node.js and Webpack;

Understanding of SDLC and DevOps tools and CI/CD processes;

Awareness of modern approaches, tools, etc in the frontend world;

Good communication and leadership skills;

Strong problem-solving skills, proactive position, OOTB thinking, flexibility, and motivation to bring new experiments;

Experience with Next.js and front-end development will be a plus;

Some experience or desire to work with Erlang will be a plus;

Upper intermediate or higher English level.

Project description:

Large client on the East Coast. Pooling investment income on the blockchain. Using this money to assist in the purchase of homes for low income families. Then when those families sell, a good portion of the profits go back to the investors that helped purchase the home;

Tech. stack: TypeScript, FP-TS, tRPC, NodeJS, NextJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Ethers, AWS: Cognito, S3, SES, SNS, Cloud infrastructure, NX & NRWL monorepo, Jest.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage a team of 4-5 engineers;

Mentor and advise the team in code review, pair programming, and more;

Work hands-on with the team in development at least 60% of the time;

Discover technical debt & challenges and assist in solving them;

Design and develop architectural approaches;

Review code;

Cooperate with other decision-makers;

Drive initiatives;

Contribute to team growth and development;

Continuously learn and share knowledge with the team.
