Our customer in Amsterdam currently has an opening for a Interaction Designer Therefore, you will design, prototype, and execute delightful human experiences which act as the interface between our customers and our products, services, and brand. Together with your team colleagues you drive the product development from the ideation across the development up to the maintenance. Generate existing products and ensure the creation of meaningful business impact.
5+ years of experience in interaction design experience in a company, a design studio or creative consultancy;
Experience in customer research and creating appealing User Interactions (including virtual designs);
You have the ability to tackle complex questions and use your work to communicate that complexity in simple ways to various stakeholders;
Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media, HCI, or other relevant degree;
Work experience in an agile development set-up;
You are problem-solving oriented and not afraid to make mistakes;
You are a master of innovation and can cope with uncertainty and unclear environments;
You like to work in an open and supportive team culture;
You are eager to drive business impact and do the things which need to get done, even if it isn’t part of your role description;
Salesforce and E-commerce experience will be a plus;
Upper - intermediate or higher English level.
With the newly formed digital transformation team, our Customer aims to increase its digital footprint and enhance customer experience from creating outstanding e-commerce in order to interact with its B2B customers (customer journey) to digitization the whole supply chain network (supply chain journey) up to the seamless interactions with supply partner (supply partner journey).
Tech Stack: Angular, GraphQL, Headless, Python, Java, Reactjs/Nodejs front-end, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Docker, K8s on AWS, Kafka, SalesForce, Enterprise level software development.
Team Size: Technical Architect, Project Manager, Full Stack Developer, QA, Interaction Designer, Customer Expert.
Own the customer experience of the digital products developed by your team and be sparring partner for the software developers in crafting valuable digital solutions;
Work across all parts of the design process: user research, concept development, prototyping, strategy design, UX + UI, collaborating with development teams, and design stewardship across platforms;
Quantify problems and the corresponding customer value;
Identify different personas and their needs as well as depict the corresponding journeys to detect areas of improvement;
Design transformative interactive experiences through front-end user interfaces, narrative storytelling, systems thinking, prototyping, and even creating production-ready assets;
Drive continuous UX/UI improvement across all stages of the journeys and our digital products;
Be in constant interaction with various clients to collect feedback and organize the interactions with them, such as focus groups;
Help to improve our overall UX framework to improve customer experience.
